With the latest PS5 update , the current Sony console was enriched by a few more features. The most important innovations is the possibility to extend the internal SSD with a compatible additional memory.
There was also a change in the 3D sound that is no longer reserved for compatible headsets. Also via TV speakers, the 3D sound can now be output. This is a feature, on the Sony s Hideeaki Nishino, SVP of Platform Experience, in an interview.
3D audio is an important part of our vision for the PS5. It offers a really impressive experience - not only visually, but also acoustically. When I activate 3D audio for the TV speakers, it just sounds different. It s hard to describe, but I hope everyone is trying and experiencing everyone, says his words.
And on, It feels like the tone would come from both around me as well. 3D audio definitely offers a completely different experience. I m really proud of the team that made this experience possible.
Wunder should not expect a user of the 3D sound. Last but not least, the result is likely to depend heavily on the quality of the speakers used. Especially with a comparison with costly systems, larger sound differences are usually perceptible.
Nishino to the Trophies Tracker
In the further course of the interview, Nishino went to another feature of the new firmware update. So he is mainly done by the Trophy Tracker: With the September update we have introduced many new features, but one that pleases me particularly well is the trophy tracker. Everyone wants to earn more trophies and specify it. With the trophy tracker you can easily attach the trophies you want to earn.
